In a super-advanced city in the near future where humanoid robot technology is very sophisticated, the boy detective Kenichi is caught up in the conflict as the powerful politician Duke Red, distraught over his child's death, hires a scientist to create a replacement, an exquisitely beautiful sex-changing robot child named Mitchy. Note that this original 1949 manga supplies only part of the plot for the recent Metropolis movie, and does not feature Rock, whose role in the film was adapted from Phoenix, Nextworld and other Tezuka manga.

The year is Universal Century 0133. Ten years have past since the armed resistance of the aristocratic fraction, the Crossbone Vanguard, was subdued. Tobia Aronnax is an exchange student onboard the spaceship Smashion to Jupiter, but during a surprised attack by a group of space pirates who call themselves the Crossbone Vanguard, he finds out that there were actually hidden agendas among those in the Smashion and in Jupiter itself. After being saved by a member of the pirates named Kincaid Nau, he was taken aboard the pirate ship, the Mother Vanguard, and was convinced by its captain, Berah Ronah, to join them. The pirate group's true identity was revealed to be a guerilla group resisting the secret fraction within Jupiter, the Jupiter Empire, which intends to conquer Earth. Now Tobia must pilot one of the three powerful Crossbone Gundam to help this new Crossbone Vanguard in their quest to oppose the Jupiter Empire's plans.

Gundam 00F retrace l'histoire d'un de ces groupe de soutien : Fereshte.Celui-ci a été fondé par Chall Acustica, une ancienne Gundam Meister de seconde génération, ayant participé au développement des deux dernières générations de Gundams et au recrutement de leurs pilotes. Équipé de quatre anciens prototypes réactualisés mais d'un seul réacteur solaire, Fereshte est chargé de missions de renseignement, reconnaissance, et ponctuellement soutien en mission et approvisionnement avec pour règle absolue de rester dans l'ombre de Celestial Being. Autre particularité : son principal Gundam Meister, Fon Spark, est un psychopathe et ancien terroriste tenu à l'obéissance par le port d'un collier explosif et de menottes qui ne sont désactivées que pour les phases de pilotage.

Mobile Suit Gundam 00V (V for Variations)' is a graphic novel serialized by Hobby Japan. It's presented to the reader as a mobile suit development book published 20 years after the main story/anime and features photo guides of customized mobile suit models. The series still continues as Gundam 00V: War Chronicles (Senkai) which features detailed descriptions of the battles told by Mobile Suit historian Robert Spacey.

These games allow you to more or less "raise" the character as if you were some sort of parental figure. Don't ask me for the particulars, I've never played it or seen it in action. But you can more or less mold the character into the adult you would like them to be. Previously there have been Rei and Asuka raising games, and most recently, a Shinji raising game. For some peculiar reason, they decided to release a manga to tie into the new raising game.The manga begins in a manner quite similar to the alternate universe of episode 26 of the TV series, as well as the Girlfriend of Steel 2 manga. In that aspect, this manga will seem quite "familiar" to you.

In the distant future, in a distant corner of Siberia, people live in domed cities called Domepolises. These are the primary human living spaces on Earth, which became uninhabitable years ago from environmental destruction. Now, parts of the Earth are becoming habitable again. Large portions of the Domepolises are breaking off to escape the powers that control the domes and trade. Gainer Sanga, video game champ on his 200th victory, becomes an unwilling helper in his hometown`s Exodus when he is wrongfully arrested by the Siberian Railway. He is challenged to fight other Overmen as Yapan tries to escape across Siberia. - The manga is an adaption of the anime that goes by the same name and which was thought up and directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino. The manga is drawn by one of the series' character designers, Yoshihiro Nakamura, and Tomino is credited as writer. Nakamura is (in my opinion) a rather talented artist, with a good sense for scenery and setting.
