From ANN: What with humans killing, exorcising, and otherwise getting rid of them all the time, monsters and demons have become endangered species. Someone has to look out for them, and that's what Yamada Shintarou is training to do- he's going to become a monster guardian. Après avoir vaincu Anselm (un scientifique détraqué ayant passé sa vie a étudier les sans cœurs) à l'issu d'un combat titanesque, Sora réussit avec l'aide de ses compagnons à refermer la porte des ténèbres. Malheureusement Rikku et Mickey restent bloqués à l'intérieur du Kingdom Hearts et se retrouvent à nouveau séparés de Sora, Donald et Dingo qui se remettent en quête de leurs amis. Cette quête les emmène au manoir Oblivion, un lieu mystérieux où les souvenirs de Sora s'effacent à mesure qu'il gravit les étages du manoir. Au fur et a mesure de sa progression Sora oublie ses objectifs initiaux en même temps que s'évanouissent ses souvenirs de Kairi. "Kingdom Hearts 2" fait suite aux épisodes "Kingdom Hearts" sur PS2 et "Kingdom Hearts Chain Of Memories" sur GBA. Au début de ce nouvel opus nous nous retrouvons dans la cité du crépuscule où nous découvrons Roxas et sa bande confrontés à de mystérieux...

Sora vit avec ses amis Riku et Kairi sur une petite île perdue dans l'océan. Rêvant d'aventures, ils construisent un radeau destiné à franchir les mers.
