Bien qu'il ne s'intéresse pas beaucoup à elles au début, il leur ouvre bientôt son cœur à mesure qu'ils apprennent à mieux se connaître. Clannad est un drame romantique pour la jeunesse qui sera probablement plus terre à terre que les autres œuvres de Key. Mais comme Kanon et Air, l'histoire de Clannad devrait être une nouvelle fois émouvante et déchirante, basée sur le jeu du même nom.
