The continuing adventures of classic Arsene Lupin character created by Maurice Leblanc. The manga adapts Maurice Leblanc's novels about a gentleman thief who solves cases while outwitting both the police and criminals. The first chapter of the manga retells the first short story Leblanc published, "The Arrest of Arsène Lupin" (1905). Lupin is a Gentleman Thief and a master on disguise, during the Belle Époque years.

L'intrigue se déroule en 1949. Kévin Yamagata, fils d'immigré japonais installé aux USA, est un auteur de comics américain. Il dessine la BD Billy Bat qui raconte l'histoire d'une chauve-souris détective. Sa BD semble très prometteuse, jusqu'à ce qu'un policier américain qu'il rencontre lui apprenne qu'il a déjà vu son héros dans un manga japonais. Son père lui ayant toujours inculqué à ne pas volé, il décide de partir au Japon afin de rencontrer le mangaka, lui présenter ses excuses, et lui demander l'autorisation de poursuivre Billy Bat aux États-Unis. Une fois arrivé là-bas, il découvre le grand pouvoir des américains installés au Japon, et va bientôt être au centre d'un complot...

Note: My favorite passage is when Sawamura spins through a window with a helmet, his trousers missing, with crap coming out of his ass, and everybody looking at him. He is the most ridiculous man in the world at this moment!

God created angels to guard the peace in human world. Akamine Ryota is a promising senior at the angel training school, but because he lacks full control of his powers he's not allowed to graduate. Fellow students Shirogane, Aotsuka and Kurosawa are in the same predicament.
