On his first real attempt at fighting Adys, Towa encountered Kei, a former sweeper who saved him from being killed. Towa asked Kei to take him as a student. However, not only Kei plainly rejects Towa’s request, he tells Towa that he saw the “Orange-eyed Messiah” die!? An appearance by a mysterious man who seems to be connected to Kei showed up with a grudge from the past. Who is he and what is his relationship with the “Orange-Eyed Messiah”? Will Towa finds out about Kei’s past too?

Will, l'ami de Luca issu d'une classe inférieure de la société, a disparu. Le seul indice dont dispose Luca pour retrouver son ami est un certain club, situé dans le quartier des plaisirs, où une femme nommée Yue se produit en spectacle.

Luca's friend Will, who is from a lower-class segment of society, has gone missing. Luca's only clue to find his friend is his fondness for a certain club in the entertainment district, where a woman named Yue performs. Will had always said they should go there together sometime. When Luca goes down alone to try to speak to Yue, though, he ends up being beaten badly. Luckily, Yue herself finds him, and takes him to her friend Takaomi to be patched up. It soon becomes clear that Will has fallen victim to a chimera sickness that is becoming common in the lower classes. Luca is determined to find his friend, and to save him.

Akira Nikaido is a typical slacker high school student who thinks he has a normal life--until a mysterious man called Shirogane appears and tells him to meet him at the school that night. He is skeptical but goes anyway... and gets attacked by a shadow monster! Shirogane convinces him that the balance between the human world and the shadow world has been distorted, and that Akira must become a shin--a creature of the shadow world--in order to help restore the balance.

Après une grande guerre qui a décimé une grande partie de la population planétaire et transformé le monde en un énorme désert, Eden, une ville artificielle a été créée, divisant le monde en deux parties : ceux qui sont à l'intérieur d'Eden, et ceux qui sont à l'extérieur. À Eden il y a de l'air et de l'eau potable - comme son nom l'indique, c'est un vrai paradis. Mais elle ne peut pas contenir toute la population, et les gaz qui s'en échappent rendent la vie de ceux qui n'ont pas pu y rentrer encore plus misérable. Pour lutter contre ces inégalités, beaucoup de groupes de résistance se sont formés. Le héros, Ricalne Forde est un soldat de la résistance, du groupe Cosmos. Ils se sont donnés pour mission d'infiltrer le quartir général d'Eden et de détruire le "CPU Central" qui contrôle la ville entière.
