At her grandmothers funeral 5 years ago Touno Mariko saw her grandmothers ghost. Ever since then she has been able to see ghosts. In anger, Okichi attacks the blind swordsman, but her conscience gets the better of her, and as she tends his wounds, the two fall in love.
