Voilà maintenant trente ans que sont apparus les Tourments, trente ans qu'ils attaquent sans pitié les humains. Nul ne sait d'où ils viennent, nul ne sait pourquoi ils sont là, mais chacun sait qu'ils sont extrêmement dangereux. Avec l'arrivée des Tourments, certains humains ont commencé à développer des pouvoirs hors du commun. Ces humains sont appelés les Traceurs. Ils sont les seuls à pouvoir rivaliser avec les Tourments, et protègent l'humanité. Mais avec le temps, les humains normaux ont cessé de les considérer comme les leurs, ont cessé de leur faire confiance. Les Traceurs sont vus comme des monstres, au même titre que les Tourments. Certains dérapent, commencent à utiliser leurs pouvoirs indifféremment contre Tourments et humains...

L'histoire commence peu après la fin de la saison 1 qui est Trace (que vous pourrez trouver ici).Le capitaine du Service national des enquêtes (Han Si-Hyun) essaie de démarrer un programme de communication avec les Tourments mais celui-ci est rejeté à plusieurs reprises.De plus, avec un ami ils ont l'idée absurde de partir à la recherche de Kim Yun-Seong, seuls.

2014. Après le Jour de la Paix et de l’Harmonie, les apparitions de Tourments se sont faites moins fréquentes et de nombreux Traceurs ont perdu leurs pouvoirs. Cependant, de nouveaux Traceurs naissent chaque jour, ou de simples humains le deviennent subitement. Certains Traceurs, profitant de leurs capacités, deviennent des criminels et l’opinion publique se divise en deux camps : ceux qui sont hostiles aux Traceurs en général car les considérant comme dangereux, et ceux qui continuent de les considérer comme des humains bénéficiant donc de droits fondamentaux. Au sein de ce monde troublé, nous suivons désormais le regard et la lutte de Seo Beom-Gi, officier de police et simple humain.

Au-delà des frontières du royaume de Yarke, se trouve la terre brûlée d'Uren. Les paysans et la noblesse écoutent les oreilles ouvertes tandis que les voyageurs racontent des histoires de sorcellerie au clair de lune. Alors que les tensions montent, le troisième prince de Yarke voyage hors de son royaume sous la pleine lune pour rencontrer une belle femme.
